Another granny beats COVID-19 to make full recovery

A 103-year-old Iranian woman is the second person her age to defy the odds to make a full recovery from the dreaded coronavirus after being hospitalized for one week.

The centenarian had been hospitalised in the central city of Semnan for about a week but was discharged after making a complete recovery.

The woman is the third elderly patient to survive COVID-19, with the others being a 10-year-old woman from China and a 91-year-old man.

The man recovered although he had pre-existing medical conditions, which included high blood pressure and asthma.
