Jeff Bezos could soon see himself being overthrown as the world’s richest man by Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH.

Arnault, is now worth nearly $108 billion, according to real-time wealth rankings tracked by Forbes.
He’s trailing Bezos by a mere two billion. Microsoft co-founder Gates rounds off the top three with a net worth $107 billion.

Arnault’s net worth jumped more than 1 per cent Monday (Nov 25) and nearly another 3 per cent Tuesday along with LVMH’s stock following his company’s agreement to buy Tiffany for $16.2 billion. Arnault and his family own more than 47 per cent of the French luxury goods giant.
