Boyz hunt double feat against Antigua and Barbuda in Nations League match today

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will seek to secure a spot in 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup as well as move up to the CONCACAF Nations League A on Friday, when they tackle Antigua and Barbuda at the 7:00 pm (6:00 pm Jamaica time) at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

To achieve the double feat, the Reggae Boyz need to top Group B of the CONCACAF Nations League B and with 12 points going into the match, they need only a point to finish at the summit.

Second-placed Guyana and third-placed Antigua and Barbuda are both on six points, with goal difference being the separating factor, while bottom of the table, Aruba are yet to get a point.

With one round of matches to be played after Friday, the other teams cannot surpass the Reggae Boyz with a draw and 13 points.

In their first leg at Montego Bay Sports Complex, the Reggae Boyz flogged Antigua and Barbuda 6-0.

The Reggae Boyz have amassed an impressive 18 goals from their four matches and are yet to concede, while Antigua and Barbuda have scored five times while letting in 13 goals.
