A child took control of the United States nuclear-agency Twitter account on Monday and left followers panicking over whether or not the account has been hacked.
The agency is responsible for safeguarding America’s nuclear weapons.
The indecipherable tweet read; “;l;;gmlxzssaw”, which and was deleted within minutes.
But as it turns out the agency’s social media manager left his computer for a minute and his very “young child” decided to go tweeting.
This was revealed after The Daily Dot made a Freedom of Information request to the agency.
“The command’s Twitter manager momentarily left the command’s Twitter account open and unattended,” the response said, adding he had been working from home.
“His very young child took advantage of the situation and started playing with the keys and unfortunately, and unknowingly, posted the tweet,” it said.
