China braces for second wave of coronavirus

China has imposed a lock down in a second city since week. 4.5 million people in Jilin have been told to stay home after 21 new coronavirus cases were reported there.

On Monday, the neighbouring city of Shaolin was placed under lock down after new coronavirus cases were discovered there. And the Chinese government says it will be testing the entire city of Wuhan-the epicentre of the virus in China after new cases were discovered there.

However, Chinese experts are denying that this is a second wave of the virus.

“Whenever new cases emerge, the monitoring system will detect and track the cases, and we’ll curb the spread of the virus in no time,”
