Member of Parliament for St Andrew West Rural, Juliet Cuthbert Flynn, took to social media to provide an update on several projects in her constituency.
Cuthbert Flynn, over the weekend, shared that a road project in the constituency had been completed noting that it was a part of a commitment she made to the people of Property three years earlier.
“The government is focused on building Rural communities and I am grateful that as the Member of Parliament of West Rural I am able to lobby for the people,” said Cuthbert Flynn
“Today is a good day and a moment to celebrate a new chapter for the people residing in Property. This was a commitment I made to them 3 years ago and I’m happy to see the final result. I am grateful to our visionary Prime Minister Hon. Andrew,” added Cuthbert Flynn.
In addition, Cuthbert Flynn shared that plans to overhaul the Stony Hill Police station were well underway , adding that there were also plans to construct a justice centre in the constituency.
“I am pleased to announce that the drawings are finally ready and a new police station for our men and women officers will begin in the new year,” said Cuthbert Flynn.
The area is now being prepared for clearing and I am delighted that a new face for Rural communities is the plan under the Andrew Holness administration. Next door to the Police Station we will soon see the construction of a brand new Justice Centre which will serve this community well as crime escalate. I am pleased to be your representative and will continue to lobby on your behalf for better roads, water, educational facilities, infrastructure and much more,” she added.
