Data Entry clerk nabbed with cocaine at airport in MoBay

A data entry clerk was arrested on Saturday (March 20) after she tried to board a JetBlue flight for Fort Lauderdale with US$68,000 worth of cocaine.

Reports are that 42-year-old Stacey-Ann Smith, of an Irwin, Montego Bay address arrived at the airport around 10:30 am.

During security checks three pounds of cocaine was found in her possession.

Smith was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine and attempting to export cocaine.

Police from the Area 1 Narcotics Division revealed that Smith’s arrest was part of a larger operation which took place throughout the course of the weekend.
