Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz lost sleep after being booked in a shabby hotel in Antigua, causing their training session on the island on Tuesday morning to be cancelled.
According to reports, the hotel in Antigua was dirty, with non-functioning bathrooms, mosquitoes and small beds.
These factors prevented the Jamaican delegation from sleeping. It is said that this led to the coaching staff, headed by coach Theodore Whitemore, to cancel the training session.
The Jamaicans are in Antigua and Barbuda for the Nations League return-leg match against the hosts on Friday. The Reggae Boyz won the first leg 6-0.
