Dog Paw survives shooting attack

Christopher ‘Dog Paw’ Linton is said to be nursing gun shot wounds after he was attacked by gunmen on Saturday night.

Reports coming forward is that the reputed gang leader is currently recuperating from the wounds which have been deemed as not life threatening.

It is said that he was hit in the upper body during the attack.

Another man who was with him is said to have been hit but his current condition is unknown.

Reports are that Linton was among a group of four men when they were attacked by unknown assailants in the Cane River area of Bull Bay on Saturday night at about 8:00 p.m.

The latest development come just months after Linton was released from from prison, having been set free by the Court of Appeal.

He had been serving 15 years for illegal possession of firearm and shooting with intent.

However on appeal, the court decided that the identification evidence was unreliable and he along with Micah Allen walked free.
