Jamaica’s Fedrick Dacres won the silver medal in the World Championships in Doha, Qatar on Monday.
Dacres threw 66.94 metres with his second attempt to finish behind Daniel Stahl of Sweden, who won with a throw of 67.59 metres, which was done on his third attempt.
Stahl had the three best throws in the final, as he also did 67.18 metres with his second attempt and 67.05 with his third. Stahl fouled on his fifth attempt, likewise Dacres on his sixth.
Third went to Lukas Weisshaidinger of Austria, who flung 66.82 metres
