#Doha2019: Shashalee Forbes out women’s 200 metres

Shashalee Forbes of Jamaica failed to advance to the final of the women’s 200 metres on Tuesday as she finished Heat One of the semi-finals eight and last at the World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Forbes was never in contention for a spot, as she struggled around the curve and faded from midpack to finish last.

The race was won by Angerne Annelus of the United States of America, who did 22.49 seconds with Mujinga Kambundji of Switzerland ending second in 22.49 and Crystal Emmanuel of Canada third in 22.65.

Forbes ran a slow 23.14 seconds.
