Earthquake: Magnitude 4.3 quake shakes near Cayman

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake was reported on Monday (March 23) at approximately 11:53 a.m. near the Cayman Islands, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake occurred 29 miles south of East End.

In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or higher north of the Caribbean in the United States.

On Sunday, California recorded a magnitude 4.3 earthquake near Ridgecrest in the state.
