Former national footballer Arthur Lattimore has died.
Lattimore, lost his battle with throat cancer at his home in Florida on Thursday.
Lattimore was known as one of Jamaica’s most skilled left -sided players. He was a member of the national men’s team played for Liguanea United, Cavaliers and Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) in the 1970’s in Division 1 and Major League, all before migrating to the United States.
He also represented the senior men’s team throughout the 1970’s including representing Jamaica at the Pan American Games in Colombia and Mexico in 1971 and 1975 respectively.
He was revered for his exceptional play while representing Liguanea in the Major League competition in the 1970s.
