The 43 Jamaican crew members aboard the Marella Discovery 2 cruise ship will be arriving on the island this afternoon.
They will be coming from the United Kingdom, under the Government’s controlled re-entry programme.
The crew members were initially denied entry into their own country when the cruise ship stopped in Jamaican waters on April 2.
At the time, the government had implemented a travel restriction on incoming passengers into the island to curb the spread of the coronavirus-COVID-19.
Upon arrival, they will be tested for the coronavirus, and quarantined for 14 days.
