Jamaica hits another daily high with 403 COVID-19 cases

Jamaica has hit yet another daily high after recording 403 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours.

It’s the third time in less than a week that the nation has surpassed previous highs. The previous high was 328, set just three days ago.

The new positives bring the island’s total cases to 17,701. They include 154 males and 249 females with ages ranging from 63 days to 96 years old.

There was also one additional death, an 84-year-old male from Kinston and St Andrew, bringing the island’s fatalities to 359.

Jamaica has 156 hospitalised patients with 22 deemed moderately ill and 13 critically ill.
