Jamaica records 3 COVID deaths, 207 more cases

Jamaica recorded three COVID-19 deaths and 207 new cases of the virus over the past 24 hours.

The additional fatalities push deaths to 362. All the deceased are male, including a 76-year-old from St James and an 87-year-old and 70-yer-old both from St James.

The country’s total number of cases has climbed to 17,908, following its highest daily total of 403 positives yesterday. Among the new cases are 85 males and 122 females ranging from two months to 92 years old.

Jamaica also reported 44 more recoveries, for a total of 12,406.

There are 171 hospitalised cases with 34 considered moderately ill and 13 critically ill.
