Jamaica will not ban Kalina Collier from returning

In the highly unlikely case that former JetBlue flight attendant Kalina Collier decides to return to Jamaica, she can. Jamaica’s Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett said the country won’t ban her from returning.

This comes even as her allegations of being kidnapped brought Jamaica’s name into disrepute.

But Bartlett would like nothing else than for Jamaica to move on from this.

“By her admission, she has said she was not kidnapped,” Bartlett said while urging Collier to apologise to the people of Jamaica.
