Joe Biden has been declared the winner of the United States presidential election, beating Donald Trump in what has been a very close race.
Based on projections, Biden now has 273 Electoral College votes after getting 20 from Pennsylvania.
He was only required to get 270 of the 538 electoral votes in order to become president.
Trump is still on 213 electoral votes.
Americans went to the polls on Tuesday to decide who would become their president. But for days, they waited as officials counted the votes in battleground states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada and Georgia.
However, on Saturday morning, projections said that Biden, a former US vice president, he had won in Pennsylvania after 98 per cent of the ballots in the state had been counted.
This win will make him the 46th president of the United States.
Kamala Harris will be his vice president.
