Jamaican born Leon Bailey has led Bayer Leverkusen to victory over Bayern Munich. Bailey scored the only 2 goals for the team which resulted in their shocking 2-1 defeat of Bayern on Saturday (Nov. 29) Bundesliga match.

Bailey 22, told reporters at Bundesliga, “It’s a great step for me right now, being able to be back with the team, helping the team to such a great victory tonight.”

“We all left our hearts out on the pitch today. Of course, the win was a bit lucky, but we threw absolutely everything at it. I’m very happy to have scored the two goals, but this is a win for the whole team,” Bailey said.
Bailey has only appeared in 6 games since the season began after more than two months out due to injury and suspension.
