Marline Brown takes over as Trelawny FA president

Marline Brown was elected unopposed as president of the Trelawny Football Association at the Annual General Meeting at Falmouth All Age on the weekend.

She will have Fitzroy Lyons, Michael Moseley and Dwight Jeremiah as vice presidents. Collin Campbell is general secretary and Ronald McLean assistant general secretary.

Omar Scott will serve as treasurer while zone representatives will be Dane Clarke, Dale Walker and Rawle Gentles. The fourth zone representative will be decided at a later date.

In the vote for vice presidents, Lyons tallied 20 votes, Moseley 19 and Jeremiah 16 with the fourth individual in the contest, Nicholas Dixon getting 11 votes. Campbell with 13 votes, defeated Dave Lawkins, who got eight votes for the general secretary position, while McLean and Scott were unopposed for the assistant general secretary and treasurer slots.

Brown replaced long-serving president Linnel McLean, who did not seek reelection, as he has taken up a position with the Jamaica Football Federation.
