New York, the city that never sleeps has been placed under total lockdown as it attempts to slow down the spread of the coronavirus which is threatening to make New York City its next hotspot.
This means that there will be no more playdates, no more picnics in the park with friends, no more pickup games of basketball. And no more commuting or using public transport, unless absolutely essential.
New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo ordered all nonessential businesses in the state to close and nonessential workers to stay home starting Sunday night, tightening even further restrictions put in place earlier.
