Reggae Boyz beat Aruba 2-0 in CONCACAF Nations League

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz narrowly defeated Aruba 2-0 at the National Stadium Saturday evening, to solidify their position at the top of Group C of League B of the CONCACAF Nations League.

Devon Williams netted in the 13th minute to give the Reggae Boyz the lead, but they failed to add to their tally until the 88th minute, when Shamar Nicholson scored the second goal.

The Reggae Boyz are now on nine points from their three matches, with Antigua and Barbuda second on six points, Guyana on three and Aruba yet to secure a point.

The victory followed 6-0 and 4-0 victories over Antigua and Barbuda and Guyana respectively as the Reggae Boyz seek to maintain a top six position in the CONCACAF rankings, which will give them an automatic spot in the hexagonal stage of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next year.
