A small earthquake struck off the coast of Hellshire, St Catherine on Friday morning (June 26).
The 3.5 magnitude quake was confirmed by the University of The West Indies’ Earthquake Unit.
The earthquake Unit said that the quake’s epicenter was 15km southeast of Hellshire, St Catherine with a focal depth of 13.7km.
This is the second earthquake to shake the island within a month.
Earlier this month, on June 14, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck near Buff Bay in Portland.
