St Joseph’s Convent students suspended for coronavirus prank

Several student from the Joseph’s Convent (SJC) were suspended for cyberbulling.

Reports are that on Tuesday (February 11, 2020) several students from SJC shared similar WhatsApp status updates.

The updates allegedly showcased a student from the institution wearing a face mask with the caption “Coronavirus has reached the St Joseph’s Convent.”

The school denounced the action taken by the students labelling it as bullying; something they say the school has a strict policy against.

The suspension takes effect from February 12, 2020, until February 14.
