Maybe you should start investing more time and creativity in your TikTok videos because the social media platform has announced that it will be establishing a US $200 million fund to help top creators in the U.S. supplement their earnings.

It’s called the TikTok Creator Fund, and the money is to help “eligible” creators on the platform earn a livelihood.

But you have to be 18-year-old, meeting a certain (unspecified) baseline for followers, and consistently posting original content that is in line with TikTok’s community guidelines. The platform will begin accepting applications from U.S.-based creators starting next month and distribute the capital over the coming year.
